If your documents are in order, the officer will make the necessary changes on your National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) and update your address with these agencies.
Participating agencies will be updated with your new residential address the next day.
Before the movers load your items, count the number of boxes/items based on your checklist. When the movers unload your items, ensure that everything is accounted for.
Unpack your items and check if there’s any damages. Do the necessary insurance claims if any. Also, check your old house’s mailbox in a week's time in case any mails get delivered there.
